She's not Julia Whelan (nobody is, let's be real), but she handles Belly's confusion and eventual clarity with enough warmth that I stayed invested.
Jordi Nogales is credited too, though the division of narration duties isn't super clear from what I could find. If you're coming from the English audiobooks, just know this is a different listening experience - the Spanish translation carries its own rhythm, and some of the Han dialogue that feels breezy in English lands with more emotional gravity in Spanish. "No me queda más remedio" hits harder than "I have no choice." It just does.

I saw multiple readers calling Belly's choices "irritating" and "unbelievable," and I get it - she's nineteen and making nineteen-year-old decisions, which means they're messy and contradictory and exactly right for who she is. If you need your protagonists to be rational, this book will make you want to throw your phone. Skip it. Save yourself. But if you understand that love at that age is basically a beautiful car crash in slow motion? This is a rainy Sunday book. Curl up. Let it wreck you a little.
I cried once. Just once. But it was the kind of cry where you don't realize it's happening until your cheek is wet and your cat is looking at you with genuine concern. The vibes are immaculate for what this is - a YA summer romance finale that knows exactly what it wants to be and doesn't apologize for any of it.

Jenny Han earned it. She earned every tear. The messy romantic chaos of Honeymoon Crashers doesn't earn it quite as fully - that one keeps things lighter, breezier, less willing to sit in the wreckage - but if you need something to decompress with after this trilogy wrecks you, it does the job.
