Terry Brooks
Terry Brooks is an American author born in 1944, best known for his epic fantasy series beginning with The Sword of Shannara in 1977. He was a practicing attorney before becoming a full-time writer and has written over 40 books, many related to the Shannara universe. Brooks has been recognized with a World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement and an Inkpot Award.
