Terry Pratchett
Sir Terence David John Pratchett (1948â2015) was an English author best known for his Discworld series of comic fantasy novels. He wrote over fifty books, including works for children and young adults, and was knighted in 2009 for his services to literature. Pratchett was also an advocate for Alzheimer's research after his diagnosis with early-onset Alzheimer's disease.
