Jeff VanderMeer
Jeff VanderMeer (born July 7, 1968) is an American author, editor, and literary critic known for his work in the New Weird genre and ecological speculative fiction. He gained mainstream success with his Southern Reach Trilogy, especially the novel Annihilation, which won the Nebula and Shirley Jackson Awards and was adapted into a Hollywood film. VanderMeer has also won multiple World Fantasy Awards and is noted for his engagement with environmental themes.
