Bell Hooks

bell hooks, born Gloria Jean Watkins (1952–2021), was an American author, feminist, cultural critic, and social activist known for her influential writings on race, feminism, class, and love. She authored over 40 books and was a professor at several universities, including Berea College where the bell hooks Institute was established. Her work emphasized accessibility and the intersectionality of oppression.
