Eoin Colfer

Eoin Colfer is an Irish author born in 1965 in Wexford, Ireland. He is best known for the Artemis Fowl series, which has sold over 25 million copies worldwide and been translated into 40 languages. Colfer was a primary school teacher before becoming a full-time writer and has also written other popular works such as Half Moon Investigations, The Wish List, The Supernaturalist, and the Legends series. He served as Ireland's Children's Laureate from 2014 to 2016.
