Aesop

Aesop is a legendary ancient Greek fabulist traditionally credited with authoring Aesop's Fables, a collection of moral stories often featuring animals. Believed to have lived around 620-560 BCE, he was said to be a slave who gained freedom through his storytelling. His existence is debated, and many fables attributed to him were likely compiled from various sources and transmitted orally.
