A Brit in the FBI
A Brit in the FBI is a 3-book audiobook series by Catherine Coulter. Every entry below includes narrator ratings, listening context, and a clear verdict — start with Lost Key.
Books in This Series
Lost Key
A propulsive international thriller with strong dual narration that overcomes a cartoonish villain. Perfect post-shift brain candy that'll keep you in your car past your driveway.
Devil's Triangle
A fast-paced thriller with strong dual narration but paper-thin character psychology. The ambitious weather-control plot and globe-hopping action overshadow any real emotional depth, though series fans will find enough momentum to stay engaged.
Sixth Day
A fast-paced FBI thriller with a genuinely interesting villain concept — Romanian billionaire descended from Vlad the Impaler — undermined by overcrowded plotting and underdeveloped character psychology. Solid dual narration and good pacing make it a decent road trip listen, but don't expect the premise to hold up under scrutiny.
