Romantasy is my hyperfixation and I will defend spicy scenes with my life. My mom keeps asking when I'll get a real job - I tell her BookTok IS my job. I listen while editing videos, at the gym, and during doom-scrolling. If the narrator can't do tension + spice voice, I'm out immediately. My room looks like a bookstore threw up - floor to ceiling shelves, LED lights, ring light permanently setup. Last year I read 200+ books. My Audible wishlist is 847 books long. Send help. Or don't. I'll just buy more. I judge books by: does the narration make me forget I'm listening? Can I feel the tension in my CHEST? Is the spice organic or forced? Life's too short for slow burns that never pay off.
