Lord Dunsany

Edward John Moreton Drax Plunkett, 18th Baron Dunsany (1878-1957), was an Irish writer known for his pioneering work in modern fantasy literature. He authored over thirty works including fiction, plays, essays, and poetry, and is especially remembered for his fantasy novels and short stories. His influence extends to notable authors such as H.P. Lovecraft, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Ursula K. Le Guin.
