Lisa See

Lisa See is a New York Times bestselling author known for her richly detailed historical novels that explore Chinese and Chinese-American experiences, especially focusing on women's lives and relationships. Born in Paris in 1955 and raised in Los Angeles, she draws on her Chinese heritage and family history in her storytelling. She has received multiple honors including the Golden Spike Award from the Chinese Historical Association of Southern California and the Historymaker's Award from the Chinese American Museum.
