E. Lockhart

E. Lockhart is the pen name of Emily Jenkins, an American author born in 1967, known for writing children's picture books, young adult novels, and adult fiction. She holds a doctorate in English literature from Columbia University and has taught creative writing at various universities. She is best known for her young adult novels such as We Were Liars and The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks.
