Anthony Trollope

Anthony Trollope (1815-1882) was a prolific and respected English novelist of the Victorian era, known for his detailed depiction of social, political, and gender issues of his time. He wrote 47 novels, including the famous Chronicles of Barsetshire series, and worked as a civil servant in the Post Office. His writing gained renewed critical appreciation in the mid-20th century.
