Ally Condie is a bestselling author known for the #1 New York Times bestselling Matched trilogy and the middle-grade novel Summerlost, which was a finalist for the 2017 Edgar Award for Best Juvenile Mystery. She is a former English teacher with an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and lives near Salt Lake City, Utah. Condie is also the founder and director of the nonprofit WriteOut Foundation, which runs writing camps for rural teens.
