A.W. Tozer

A.W. Tozer (1897–1963) was an American evangelical pastor, author, and spiritual mentor known for his passionate pursuit of God. Self-taught with no formal theological education, he served in the Christian and Missionary Alliance denomination for over forty years and wrote over sixty books emphasizing a deep relationship with God. His third book, The Pursuit of God (1948), made him widely known among evangelicals.
