Lirael: Daughter of the Clayr
Tim Curry's dramatic narration elevates this YA fantasy about an outsider girl and her magical dog facing ancient evil. Uneven pacing from dual storylines, but the world-building and Curry's character voices make it a rewarding listen.
Abhorsen
The satisfying payoff to the Old Kingdom trilogy, elevated by Tim Curry's narration - especially his pitch-perfect Mogget. Not flawless (every character lives in Curry's vocal range), but the emotional climax and tight pacing make it worth the 11-hour investment.
