The Heroes of Olympus is a 4-book audiobook series by Rick Riordan. Every entry below includes narrator ratings, listening context, and a clear verdict — start with Lost Hero.
Books in This Series
Lost Hero
Rick Riordan's mythology mashup delivers an engaging story with memorable heroes, but the multi-narrator audiobook suffers from inconsistent performances. Jason's chapters work well, while Piper's monotone delivery may test your patience.
Mark of Athena (Heroes of Olympus Book 3)
Seven demigods, one flying ship, and a narrator who nails the chaotic energy despite some shaky pronunciations. The ending will destroy you.
House of Hades (Heroes of Olympus Book 4)
House of Hades is the strongest Heroes of Olympus entry with genuinely dark Tartarus scenes, but the narrator switch from Joshua Swanson to Nick Chamian requires patience. Push through the first two hours and the story absolutely rewards you.
Blood of Olympus (Heroes of Olympus Book 5)
A satisfying but slightly rushed finale to Heroes of Olympus. Nick Chamian's narration is hit-or-miss depending on your tolerance for his character voice interpretations.
