Books in This Series
Nightmare Planet
A 1953 novella about a primitive human fighting giant insects on a fungus-covered planet, with surprisingly rich ecosystem world-building and a proto-progression-fantasy arc. Free LibriVox production, competent narration, under two hours.
Forgotten Planet
Classic 1950s pulp sci-fi about humans surviving on a planet where insects evolved to monstrous sizes. The almost dialogue-free narrative is surprisingly engaging, but serviceable narration and slow pacing make this better for dedicated listening than commutes.
