Timothy Snyder

Timothy Snyder is a historian specializing in 20th-century Europe and a prominent public intellectual. He holds the Temerty Chair in Modern European History at the Munk School, University of Toronto, and is a permanent fellow at the Institute for Human Sciences in Vienna. He is known for his works on fascism, communism, and the rise of tyranny, including the bestselling book 'On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century.'
