Vanessa Diffenbaugh

Vanessa Diffenbaugh is an American author born in San Francisco and raised in Chico, California. She studied creative writing and education at Stanford University and has taught art and writing to youth in low-income communities. Her experience as a foster mother inspired her debut novel, The Language of Flowers. She is also a passionate foster care advocate and co-founder of the Camellia Network.
