Tom Robbins

Tom Robbins was an American novelist known for his eccentric characters, playful optimism, and self-conscious wordplay. He authored eight published novels including 'Fierce Invalids Home from Hot Climates' and was recognized as one of the 100 Best Writers of the 20th Century by Writer's Digest. Robbins received multiple lifetime achievement awards, including the Bumbershoot Golden Umbrella Award and the Literary Lifetime Achievement Award from the Library of Virginia.
