Theodore Taylor

Theodore Taylor (1921–2006) was an American author known for over 50 fiction and nonfiction books, primarily for young adults. He began writing at age 13 and worked in journalism and film before focusing on literature. His most famous work, The Cay, won 11 literary awards and has been translated into multiple languages.
