Simon Wiesenthal

Simon Wiesenthal (1908–2005) was an Austrian-Jewish architectural engineer and Holocaust survivor who became renowned for his work as a Nazi hunter, helping to bring over 1,100 Nazi war criminals to justice. He founded the Jewish Historical Documentation Center in 1946 and authored several books reflecting on justice, forgiveness, and remembrance of the Holocaust.
