Saul D. Alinsky

Saul David Alinsky (1909-1972) was an American community organizer and writer, widely regarded as the founder of modern community organizing. Born in Chicago to Russian-Jewish immigrant parents, he dedicated his life to empowering marginalized communities and advocating for social justice. He authored influential works including 'Rules for Radicals' and a biography of labor leader John L. Lewis.
