R. Kent Hughes

R. Kent Hughes is an American evangelical Christian author, pastor, and educator, known for his extensive contributions to expository preaching and pastoral theology. He served as senior pastor of College Church in Wheaton, Illinois, and is a professor emeritus of practical theology at Westminster Theological Seminary. Hughes has authored numerous influential books, including the best-selling Disciplines of a Godly Man.
