Percival Leigh

Percival Leigh (1813–1889) was an English satirist and comic writer, known as a founding contributor and deputy editor of the magazine Punch. Originally trained as a doctor, he turned to comic literature and collaborated with illustrators like John Leech. He is noted for his humorous and satirical works on language and social customs.
