Nora Ephron

Nora Ephron (1941–2012) was an American author, playwright, screenwriter, and film director renowned for her romantic comedies featuring biting wit and strong female characters. She drew from her own life experiences, notably in her novel Heartburn, which is a semi-autobiographical account of her marriage and divorce. Ephron was also a celebrated essayist and journalist.
