Natalie Baszile

Natalie Baszile is an American author known for her debut novel Queen Sugar, which was adapted into a television series by Ava DuVernay and co-produced by Oprah Winfrey. She holds an M.A. in Afro-American Studies from UCLA and an MFA from Warren Wilson College. Baszile has received several fellowships and awards, and her work often explores African American themes and the contemporary South.
