Mamie Dickens

Mary 'Mamie' Angela Dickens (1838-1896) was the eldest daughter of the English novelist Charles Dickens. She wrote a memoir about her father titled 'My Father as I Recall Him' (1886), providing a personal and affectionate account of his life and character. Mamie also collaborated with her aunt Georgina Hogarth to edit the first collection of Charles Dickens' letters.
