Maggie Shipstead

Maggie Shipstead is a New York Times-bestselling American novelist, short story author, essayist, and travel writer. She is a graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop and a former Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford. Shipstead has won the Dylan Thomas Prize and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for First Fiction. Her novel Great Circle was shortlisted for the 2021 Booker Prize and the 2022 Women's Prize for Fiction.
