Lauren Oliver

Lauren Oliver, born Laura Suzanne Schechter on November 8, 1982, in Queens, New York, is a New York Times bestselling author known for her young adult fiction. She holds a degree in literature and philosophy from the University of Chicago and an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University. Oliver has written over ten novels, including the acclaimed debut 'Before I Fall' and the Delirium trilogy, and co-founded Glasstown Entertainment, a media company developing content for books, film, and television.
