Kaitlyn Greenidge

Kaitlyn Greenidge is an American writer born in Boston, known for her critically acclaimed novels that explore themes of race, history, and identity. She received the 2017 Whiting Award for Fiction for her debut novel, We Love You, Charlie Freeman. Her second novel, Libertie, is a historical novel inspired by the life of one of the first Black female doctors in the United States and explores the quest for freedom for Black women in Reconstruction-era Brooklyn and Haiti.
