John Perkins

John Perkins (born January 28, 1945) is an American author and activist known for his exposés on economic and political manipulation by multinational corporations and governments. He was formerly a chief economist at the consulting firm Chas. T. Main and later founded an independent energy company. Perkins has written extensively on global economic exploitation and has been involved in nonprofit work worldwide.
