John Owen

John Owen (1616–1683) was a prominent Puritan theologian, Dean of Christ Church, Oxford, Vice-Chancellor of Oxford University, and chaplain to Oliver Cromwell. He is best known for his profound and authoritative writings on doctrinal, ecclesiastical, and practical Christian subjects, especially personal holiness and sanctification.
