John Langan (born July 6, 1969) is an American author known for contemporary horror fiction. He has written novels, short story collections, and co-edited anthologies. He is also a co-founder of the Shirley Jackson Awards and has served as a juror for them. Langan lives in New York's Hudson Valley and teaches creative writing and Gothic literature.
