Jill Leovy

Jill Leovy is an American journalist and nonfiction writer, best known for her 2015 New York Times bestseller 'Ghettoside: A True Story of Murder in America.' She spent over a decade covering gang killings and police in South Los Angeles and is a senior fellow at USC and Harvard. Her work focuses on homicide, race, and the criminal justice system.
