Jia Tolentino

Jia Tolentino is a Canadian-born American writer and staff writer at The New Yorker. She grew up in Texas, studied at the University of Virginia, and earned an MFA in fiction from the University of Michigan. She is the author of the bestselling essay collection Trick Mirror: Reflections on Self-Delusion and has worked as deputy editor at Jezebel and contributing editor at The Hairpin.
