Jesmyn Ward

Jesmyn Ward is an acclaimed American novelist and professor of English at Tulane University. She is the first woman and first Black American to win two National Book Awards for Fiction, for her novels Salvage the Bones (2011) and Sing, Unburied, Sing (2017). Her work often explores themes of race, family, poverty, and the American South.
