Jayne Allen

Jayne Allen, pen name of Jaunique Sealey, is a Detroit-born author, writer, producer, entrepreneur, and former lawyer. A Duke and Harvard Law School graduate, she crafts stories that explore contemporary women's issues with a focus on multiculturalism and multidimensionality, featuring dynamic Black female protagonists. She is best known for her bestselling Black Girls Must Die Exhausted trilogy, which is being adapted for television.
