James Stephens

James Stephens (1880–1950) was an Irish novelist, poet, and folklorist known for his contributions to the Irish literary revival and his support for Irish independence. He wrote vivid accounts of the 1916 Easter Rising, including The Insurrection in Dublin, and was a friend of James Joyce. His work often reflects Irish nationalism and pantheistic philosophy.
