Howard Zinn

Howard Zinn (1922–2010) was an American historian, playwright, philosopher, socialist intellectual, and social activist. He is best known for his influential book A People's History of the United States, which presents American history from the perspective of marginalized groups. Zinn was also a professor and wrote extensively on civil rights, anti-war movements, and labor history.
