Howard M. Halpern Phd

Howard M. Halpern (1929–2011) was an American psychotherapist and author known for his self-help books focusing on severing or realigning burdensome relationships. He earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Columbia University and served as a consultant and psychotherapist at various New York institutions. Halpern was also a past president of the American Academy of Psychotherapists.
