Greg Bear

Gregory Dale Bear (1951-2022) was an American science fiction and mainstream author known for his hard science fiction works that explore themes such as galactic conflict, artificial universes, consciousness, cultural practices, and accelerated evolution. He authored over forty books, including the Forerunner Saga trilogy set in the Halo universe. Bear received numerous prestigious awards throughout his career.
