Friedrich Engels

Friedrich Engels (1820–1895) was a German philosopher, social scientist, journalist, and businessman. He co-authored The Communist Manifesto with Karl Marx and completed volumes 2 and 3 of Marx's Das Kapital after Marx's death. Engels was a key figure in developing Marxist theory and was deeply involved in socialist and communist movements of the 19th century.
