Frank H. Spearman

Frank Hamilton Spearman (1859–1937) was an American author known for his Western fiction and detailed works on railroads. He gained fame for his novel "Whispering Smith" and wrote extensively about the men who built and operated railroads in the American West. Spearman was honored with the Laetere Medal by the University of Notre Dame for his wholesome writing.
