Frank Bettger

Franklin Lyle Bettger (1888-1981) was an American salesman, self-help author, and former professional baseball player. He is best known for his influential book How I Raised Myself from Failure to Success in Selling, which chronicles his transformation from a struggling salesman to a top life insurance producer. Bettger was encouraged by Dale Carnegie to write his best-selling books and lectured widely on sales techniques.
