Euripides

Euripides was an ancient Greek tragedian born around 480-484 BCE, known for his innovative approach to traditional myths and his focus on the psychological depth of characters. He wrote approximately 92 plays, with 19 surviving, including the famous tragedy Medea. Euripides spent his later years in Macedonia and never returned to Athens.
