Eric Berne (1910-1970) was a Canadian-born psychiatrist and psychotherapist who developed the theory of Transactional Analysis. He authored the groundbreaking book Games People Play, which popularized his model of human social interactions and psychological games. Berne founded the International Transactional Analysis Association and wrote over 30 books and articles.
