Eddie Huang

Eddie Huang is an American author, chef, restaurateur, and food personality known for his memoir Fresh Off the Boat: A Memoir. Born in 1982 to Taiwanese immigrant parents, he grew up in Washington, D.C., and Orlando, Florida, and has been recognized for his candid and brash storytelling about race, assimilation, and identity in America. He is also known for hosting food-themed TV programs and for his restaurant Baohaus in New York City.
