Dashka Slater

Dashka Slater is a New York Times-bestselling author and award-winning journalist known for her works in journalism, adult fiction, and children's literature. She has written fifteen books of fiction and nonfiction for children, teenagers, and adults, with her work translated into more than fifteen languages and selling over a million copies worldwide. She lives in Oakland, California, and teaches in MFA programs for writing for children and young adults.
